Victory Life Academy Morning Prayer: By Kimberly Needham

Father, in the name of Jesus, we put on the whole Armor of God today.  We put on the Helmet of Salvation, and the Breast plate of Righteousness.  We lift up the Shield of Faith.  We take up the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.  We put on the Belt of Truth, and we shod our feet with the Gospel of Peace.

Scripture references:  Ephesians 6:13-17

We walk not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers, but our delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law we meditate day and night.  We are like trees firmly planted by rivers of water.  We bear our fruit in its season.  Our leaf does not wither; whatever we do prospers in Jesus’ name.  We are the head and not the tail.  We are above and not beneath.  We are blessed coming in and blessed going out.  Lord, we thank you that Your wisdom is upon us today.  Lord, bless us indeed, enlarge our territory, keep Your hand upon us, and keep us far from evil that it may not harm us.

Scripture References:  Psalm 1:1-3; Deut. 28-:13; Deut. 28:6; James 1:5;

  1 Chron. 4:10

Our Father with art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name.  Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.  Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever.  We are givers and we are tithers.  We are cheerful givers. Whatever we put our hand to prospers.  We walk in God’s love.

Scripture references:  Matt. 6:9-13; 2 Cor. 9:7; Deut. 28:8; 1 John 4:16;

James 1:5

We dwell in the secret place of the Most High.  We abide, remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty God, whose power no enemy can withstand.  No weapon formed against us shall prosper.  No evil shall befall us.  No accident shall overtake us.  No plague or calamity shall come near us.  Every tongue that rises against us in judgment shall be proven wrong.  We will say to the Lord, “You are our God, our refuge, our fortress and our strength; our very present help in the time of trouble.”

Scripture references:  Psalm 91:1; Is. 54:17; Psalm 91:10

Lord, we thank You that You give Your angels charge over us today.  We yield to the Spirit of God today.  We yield to love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control to flow through us today.  We love the Lord our God.  We walk in all His ways.  We keep His commandments.  We serve Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.  We commit our lives and our plans to Him, and He will establish us.   And everyone agrees?  Amen (so be it)!

Scripture references:  Psalm 91:11; Gal. 5:22-23; 1 John 5:3; Prov. 16:3;

 James 1:5
